We are currently on the lookout for a Financial Controller, to join the crew.
You will report to the General Manager and Head of Finance and will hold an accounting qualification with experience working in hospitality.
What will you do Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation accurately.
Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets and credit card transactions Assist the office with general day to day guest & internal queries.
Run weekly payroll meetings and ensure the minutes are distributed.
Ensure all finance roles in the hotel are covered during any periods of absence.
Support nominated departments at month end with accrual checks and processing, P&L corrections, information requests and any other support as assigned by Head of Finance or Business Partners.
Train new employees and managers (when necessary) on the hotels policies and procedures.
Communicate with all departmental managers and employees in a professional and supportive manner.
Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
Support the wider finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, as required.
Assist in the preparation of financial audits and compliance reviews.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and resolve any discrepancies.
Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by the wider management team.
