K ey Responsibilities T he successful candidate will be responsible for the:• Calculation of journals, including the processing of sensitive and complex journals, to a high level of accuracy.
• Ongoing monitoring of connections project statuses, including the issuing of queries to connections colleagues.• Assisting connections colleagues with queries related to Connections Project Accounting and controls.• Upholding of Data integrity, ensuring we are able to accurately report the financial position.
C ompetencies • Strong analytical and numerical skills• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project and Power Point)• Excellent planning, organisation prioritisation and attention to detail• Good Time management ensuring the delivery of tasks to deadlines• Good interpersonal skills and ability to cross collaborate, working with senior managers• Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines E ssential Qualifications and Experience • A level in Math's or equivalent• 5 years' experience of working in an accounts environment with general ledger and wider accounting experience D esirable Qualifications and Experience • Finance qualification or degree• Working within the Finance department of a large company with sophisticated ERP systems.
