Job summary We are looking to hire an enthusiasticand experienced bookkeeper to join our team.
This exciting role involvesproviding finance and accounting support to the Practice Manager and GPpartners within a general practice setting.The ideal candidate will have experiencewith Xero and/or PayeDoc, and a formal accounting qualification or equivalentis preferred.In this role, you will work closelywith the Practice Manager to help maintain the financial health and integrityof the Practice.
Key responsibilities include accurate record-keeping,financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week.
The working pattern will be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate to ensure mutual convenience.
Main duties of the job FinancialoversightPayrollProcessing ,PayeDocData Entry &Record-Keeping, XeroAdministrativeSupportFinancialforecastingDay to dayfinancial transactions including invoicing and petty cashAdditionalresponsibilities as required by the Practice.
About us The Tutbury Practice is a rural GP surgerylocated in Tutbury, serving patients from nearby areas such as Rolleston,Hatton, and Stretton.
Our practice has a patient population of 8,545.
Ourclinical team includes two GP partners, three salaried GPs, a clinicalpharmacist, a nurse practitioner, and an experienced nursing team, allsupported by a friendly and dedicated admin and reception staff.We are committed to our core values ofreliability, compassion, and patient-centred care.

Job description Job responsibilities As our Financial Administrator, you'll play acritical role in maintaining our practices financial health.
Working closely withthe Practice Manager and GP Partners, you'll handle a range of responsibilities including payroll,budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
This role is ideal for someonewith experience in finance, strong analytical skills, and aproactive approach to problem-solving.
