Finance Officer

About the Role The post will sit within the Finance Systems Team.
The role will be involved with:- Supporting the Senior Finance Officers and the Senior Accountant to provide Financial and System support.
Assisting with tasks relating to managing the team inbox, assisting with day to day queries to ensure the Council's controls are effective and robust.
Supporting the development and testing for all systems managed within the Systems Team.
About you The successful candidate will preferably have experience from within a Local Authority or similar organisation, have strong technical, organisational, IT and communication skills and be familiar with collaborative working.
Candidates are required to have had previous experience of working within a finance service of a large organisation similar in size to the Local Authority.
