Overview: As our Trading Manager, you will play a critical role in driving KOI's retail growth, optimising conversion rates, and serving as a central point of communication between all teams totalling 12 people currently.
You will leverage data to assist with buying and marketing strategies, oversee e-commerce management, and lead the team towards achieving our commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities: Revenue Growth : Develop and implement strategies to increase retail revenue and achieve sales targets.
Conversion Improvement : Analyse the customer journey and implement website optimisations and A/B testing to improve conversion rates.
Team Liaison : Act as a central point of communication among Buying, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
Data-Driven Decisions : Utilise data to assist all teams in strategy formulation and operational improvements.
Trade Meetings : Lead weekly trade meetings to align teams on sales performance, goals, and strategic priorities.
Team Development : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing KOI team, creating a collaborative and motivated environment.
Brand Building : Leverage your experience in digital marketing and brand building to enhance KOI's market presence and connection with our audience.
Email Marketing : Oversee and optimise email marketing strategies to maximise customer retention and engagement.
E-Commerce Management : Manage the end-to-end e-commerce process on Shopify, optimising site performance and analysing customer data to enhance the customer experience.
Operational Oversight : Manage production and marketing calendars, ensuring alignment with business and commercial objectives.
P&L Management : Own the P&L for retail, analysing financial data to assess marketing performance and adjust strategies.
Agency Relationship Management : Collaborate with external marketing agency partners to drive sales, providing feedback and performance reviews.
CRM Enhancement : Lead initiatives to improve customer loyalty programs and optimise CRM strategies.
Feedback Loop: Provide insights to the Buying team based on performance data and market trends.
Reporting: Send a weekly email report summarising activities across the teams for the week.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Conduct weekly trade meetings to align on objectives and strategies.
Collaborate with team members to drive sales optimization and product matching.
Manage relationships with key team members, including overseeing specific projects and initiatives.
Regularly review and adjust marketing forecasts to ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a trading or commercial management role within e-commerce.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand building, and customer engagement strategies.
Experience with Shopify, email marketing, and CRM optimization.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Leadership qualities and communication skills to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
Familiarity with A/B testing tools and website optimisation techniques.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
