Ideal Candidate Profile - Recent graduate (ideally with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field) - Ability to commute to Woking town centre - Strong Excel and computer skills - High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills Role Responsibilities As a Graduate Finance Assistant, you will have the opportunity to learn and take ownership of a variety of finance tasks, including: - Coding and processing supplier invoices, ensuring accurate allocation to accounts - Clearing the backlog of outstanding invoices, handling preparation and distribution - Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly - Assisting in reviewing and refining invoicing processes for efficiency improvements - Supporting the implementation and rollout of a new invoicing system - Monitoring and following up on overdue customer payments - Preparing weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports for management - Collaborating with the finance team to strengthen internal controls and streamline processing Due to the immediate need for this position, we require candidates who are immediately available.
Initially offered as a 3-6 month contract, there is strong potential for this role to develop into a longer-term position.
Salary & Benefits The salary offered is between £24,000 - £28,000, based on experience and qualifications.
This role follows a hybrid working model, with four days per week required in the newly built, central Woking offices.
