Finance Assistant

I am seeking a Financial Assistant to support our client's finance department with tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting.
The role offers a salary of £25,000 per year, along with benefits including a company pension and a health and wellbeing programme.

Description Finance Assistant: Process supplier invoices and employee expense reports promptly and accurately.
Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice coding, data entry, and payment processing.
Assist with accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions recorded in the general ledger.
Perform monthly reconciliations to trial balance.
Process journal postings, including credit cards, petty cash, and intercompany transactions.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
