Finance Assistant

With our Client we are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant – our Client is open to Part Qualified – AAT / CIMA / ACCA or applicants who are Qualified by Experience.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE FINANCE ASSISTANT; * Annual Salary of c £27,000 – £35,000 depending on Qualification and Experience * On Site Car Parking * 25 Days Holiday – Plus Bank Hols * Flexible start and finish times – you will finish at 1.00 pm on Friday * 1 day working from home – after training * Kitchen Facilities and free Tea / Coffees / Juices / Fruit etc.
* Staff Discount / Employee Sales THE ROLE OF THE FINANCE ASSISTANT; Will report to the Finance Controller and will initially be offered on a 9 months contract – which will be reviewed.
To be suited to the Finance Assistant you will need Intermediate Excel skills and be able to prepare Reports and detailed Analysis.
You will work across; * Assist with Year End Audit * Assist with Preparation of VAT Returns * Assist with Preparation for Month End – to include – Post to Journals / update Fixed Asset / prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations / update Aged Debt * Assist with Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts – to – include – Cash Flow / Costing / Pricing update * General Ad hoc Ledger duties Our Client is a likeable and hands on business with smart modern offices
