Credit Controller

Job Title: Credit Controller Location:  Traford, Manchester Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum Job Description Job Duties: Manage and maintain the credit control system Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter Resolve customer billing queries Negotiate payment terms with customers Ensure timely and accurate posting of cash receipts Monitor debtor balances and ensure timely collection of payments Produce monthly debtor reports liase with senior steakholders Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Education: A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of credit control principles and practises Knowledge of legal requirements related to credit control Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: CICM qualification Experience in handling high volume credit control Working Conditions: Office-based role 5 days  40 hours, Monday to Friday
