Finance Assistant

We're seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial tasks and processes.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Ledger: Raise invoices and issue customer statements Purchase Ledger: File and post invoices, process receipts, and reconcile supplier accounts Banking: Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with cashflow forecasting Monthly Accounts: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts VAT Returns: Provide support with VAT returns processing Payroll: Help with payroll processing and related tasks Bookkeeping: Perform general bookkeeping tasks as required What We're Looking For: Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an accountancy-based role is essential Software Skills: Experience using accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is highly desired Qualifications: A degree is not necessary—what matters most is your experience and enthusiasm for finance Attention to Detail: You're meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy Team Player: You'll be working closely with the Finance Manager, so strong communication and collaboration skills are a must This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and looking to grow within a supportive team.
