Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM are looking for a commercial smart finance apprentice to join our team based in the Camberley office.
This is an opportunity to join a multi-million pound construction business and build solid foundations gaining knowledge in different aspects of finance and extended business operations.
Alongside the supportive work place training you will also work towards a Level 3 Assistant Account apprenticeship and AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting Your mission ??????On this apprenticeship you will learn to take on duties such as; Assist with the preparation of project reports.
Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.
Assist with application for payments and collection of cash.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Support in the provision of management information to the management teams Support of other finance team members maintaining a strong internal controls position Support Project Managers in resolution of routine queries Effective management of Working Capital within the Business Unit Activities to support work winning or delivery of the area's strategic and operational objectives.
Work closely with commercial peers to improve efficiencies and add value to various civil engineering projects.
