JOB PURPOSE   As a Finance Analyst at Burberry, you'll be assisting our UK Internal Manufacturing finance team to support month end processes and commercial finance activities.
Your role will play a key part in driving performance, pro-actively looking for value creation opportunities, enabling business decision-making and championing cost and margin focus.
RESPONSIBILITIES   Some of your responsibilities as the Finance Analyst will include: Month end processes, including: Journal preparation and execution Inventory Valuation Reconciliation and confirmation of specific balance sheet accounts Preparation and delivery of variance analysis, reviewing reporting and escalation Completion of half year and year end additional financial information Support in supplying product costing information to the business and working with internal PD and sourcing teams to engineer product to a target cost Collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to gather relevant data, ensure accuracy of financial information and drive alignment on financial objectives  Assisting in the development and submission of financial forecasts and budgets Supporting Director of Finance & Strategy with meeting preparation and note taking   PERSONAL PROFILE   You will have: Excellent communication skills with experience of supporting, influencing and challenging items Experience of working with multiple information sources, data and analytics Works on own initiative; self-motivated; adaptable; able to work in fast-paced, changeable environment; solution-driven  Strong analytical background, with a good attention to detail   FOOTER Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
