These assets enable Cawleys to offer a full range of environmental waste collection and recycling services to over 5000 industrial and commercial customers. Cawleys current turnover exceeds £30m and the company employs 230 staff across three sites, operating a mixed fleet of 80 waste collection vehicles.

The Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving increases in sales revenues by the identification and execution of growth within defined sales territory to achieve set targets.
Targeting the conversion of new revenue streams providing total waste management solutions aligned to our overall business objectives and increasing overall brand awareness.
As well as dry waste and recycling solutions, this can mean the provision of commodity sales, small level hazardous waste, confidential waste, secure destruction. The role provides valuable new business to Cawleys across our key service areas within Northampton and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities Generate a strong pipeline of customers across the field sales area.
Sell the Cawleys waste management services within a defined sales area.
Proactively develop a specified territory by identifying and targeting prospects through various channels.
Record all activity levels via the CRM system.
Work in a team environment, taking part in training sessions and strategy sessions for the benefit of yourself and the sales team.
Effectively manage the required territory and increase the Cawleys brand awareness via key networking events.
Assist and share your learning experiences to members of your team, so that you can assist other Field Sales Executives to increase their success ratios.
Keep up to date on current sales techniques and theories and changes in waste management processes.
Work on and assist on large scale promotional campaigns in your area.
Territory Planning.
Relationship building with internal and external customers.
Knowledge and Experience Must hold a valid UK driving license and have ability to travel in the UK to attend meetings.
High level of field sales experience from a service industry or direct waste management experience Proven track record of driving sales growth in a new business, B2B role.
Able to understand and use sales related IT systems and use them effectively to manage activities and pipelines.
Proficient with CRM and pipeline management.
An excellent communicator at all levels.
Service industry field sales experience.
Possess a high level of presentation skills.
Understanding of the sales process.
Skills Required Strong relationship building, communication, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to demonstrate the use of intermediate sales skills especially but not limited to - Listening, questioning, summarising, providing, negotiating, closing, and handling customers concerns.
Presenting to key business stakeholders.
In return we offer a competitive base salary of circa £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) plus uncapped sales related bonus, 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance policy, store discounts platform, wellbeing support and the opportunity join a growing local company who is an investor in people gold and keen to develop staff.
A company car and fuel card will be provided, or a car allowance can be taken.
