They currently have an excellent opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
Ideally based somewhere between Coventry and Leeds (These are locations of 2 of their depots)covering the Midlands and the North Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities Develop and grow company Supplier profile to existing and new customers, from site to Senior management and Director level Grow and ensure Market awareness of the company as a supplier of Hydrogen / Battery Power and Lighting, and to ensure we are the go to people with the expertise to advice on site power requirements.
Promote and grow our Fuel Cell TH200 Lighting tower so its the system of choice within the Construction, film / entertainment and Rail industry.
The position will suit someone with previous history in the Plant Hire industry, Environmental, canal and waterway maintenance industries.
Contributing to the public profile of the Company by reporting any newsworthy items Keep our Marketing manager up to date with product photos and information for posting on social media to promote our business.
Inform the Sales Director on a timely basis on information relating to activities of competitors or customers that may result in conflict with our business.
Assist with all service-related matters and carry our training and demonstrations when required.
Work with the Credit Control team as and when needed, and to ensure creditworthiness and reduce credit risk of potential and existing customers Maintain up to date records and information of all customers, and potential customers on our CRM system.
Assist in Service-related issues if needed.
Maintain a high level of expertise and keep up to date with technical knowledge of all products, to ensure you advise and recommendations are correct for the customers needs.
Ensure full compliance with the company Health and safety systems such as Risk Assessment, methos statements, COSHH and PPE Any other duties required.
Person Specification Driving Licence Essential Will come from an engineering background and preferably have relevant qualifications Will have demonstrable experience in sales (5+ years) Experience selling to Construction, Rail, Events (advantageous) You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
You have a high level of interpersonal skill and can work effectively with others.
