The Recruitment Group is working with a Leicester-based company that specializes in metal pressing, precision toolmaking, and other metalworking services.
Due to increased workloads our client is recruiting for a Fettler   to join their team in Leicester.
The role will be based at their site in Thurmaston, offering excellent progression opportunities for the right candidate.
As a Fettler you will be Working as part of a close-knit team carrying out metal finishing activities, polishing and graining sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.  Reporting to the Operations Manager, your primary duties will include: Weld & Metal Sanding to a high standard, blending in all directions.
Stainless Steel Graining & Polishing.
Using ancillary tools & machinery.
As a highly motivated and skilled Sheet Metal Fettler, you will need a good work ethic,  excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity as well as the ability to adhere to requirements and quality standards.
As an experienced Sheet Metal Finisher/ Fettler/ Polisher, you will have a good working knowledge of various deburring tools, grinders, metal sanders, polishing compounds, finishing hand tools as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to produce finished items to the correct specification.
  Benefits for a Fettler 38.5 working hours  Monday – Friday £12-£13 ph depending on experience
