I'm working with a highly successful, family-owned food and farming business that's looking for a skilled Farm Mechanic to join their team!
Specialising in the growing and packing of fresh produce, this business is renowned for its quality and innovation in farming practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about machinery and agriculture to work in a progressive, forward-thinking environment.

About the Role
As the Farm Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a large modern fleet of machinery on a progressive cereal and root crop farm.
This is an exciting chance to work hands-on with some of the latest equipment and be part of a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of operation.

You will also collaborate with the Farm Director and Operations Manager to manage budgets for machinery, fuels, and consumables, while ensuring machinery is always in peak condition.

Key Duties include:
Maintaining and repairing the farm's state-of-the-art machinery.
Managing the machinery, fuels, and consumables budgets.
Proactively ensuring machinery is maintained to the highest standards, with comprehensive record-keeping.
Sourcing spare parts and consumables and managing stock.
Ensuring all machinery and equipment is health and safety compliant.
Supporting other areas of the business, including the golf course, property, and production units.
Keeping up to date with the latest in machinery developments and implementing an effective maintenance schedule.
