Key Accountabilities (major end results the job is expected to achieve): As a key member of the installation team, the Fall Arrest Installation Engineer would be expected to.
Take leadership for the specific installation operations on site.
Liaise with Site Managers / clients for the duration of the installation.
To ensure that all installations are carried out in accordance with the Method Statement Risk Assessments and approved drawings.
Installation, Inspection and Maintenance of Fall arrest equipment to both major construction sites and live buildings in accordance with the applicable British Standards and the manufacturers guidelines.
Care and maintenance of all company equipment and materials.
Care and maintenance of the company van.
Clear and concise completion of all PTSG paperwork in a timely manner.
Complete online inductions as necessary Maintain a smart professional company image ensuring all corporate clothing is worn and the PTSG van is clean and tidy.
Job Context / Key Challenges: The work undertaken is generally outdoors and at height, requiring our Engineers to gain access to roof tops and systems in sometimes difficult to reach places.
The lifting and use of light equipment is required.
The types of sites and Engineer will work on, ranges for high-rise commercial properties to large retail units and industrial structures.
Driving is a critical part of the role given the size and location of the customer base.
