Facilities Assistant

Location: Onsite Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum (pro-rata) Duration: 3 months Our client, a UK-based law firm focused on purpose-driven legal work for charities, social enterprises, and public sector clients, seeks a Facilities Assistant to support their commitment to impactful change.
About the role: The Facilities Assistant will assist the Facilities Team Manager in maintaining top-quality facilities and administration for client needs.
Key Responsibilities: Post: Handle incoming/outgoing mail and DX, including sorting, distributing, and collecting at set intervals.
Deliveries: Manage personal deliveries and "by hand" items from the front desk.
Stationery & Supplies: Stock stationery weekly, distribute paper, maintain envelope cupboards, and monitor printed stock.
Catering & Toners: Order and stock kitchen supplies, manage toner replacements, and ensure smooth toner delivery.
Reception/Meeting Rooms: Prepare meeting rooms and coordinate with Reception for setup needs.
Building Services & Health & Safety: Report and follow up on building issues, support Health & Safety tasks.
Printing & Archiving: Handle printing, scanning, photocopying, and assist with archiving as needed.
About you: Prior experience in professional services/facilities is desirable.
Strong communication, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Flexibility for occasional work outside standard hours.
About the team: Join our 13-member Operations team, which includes Facilities, Reception, and Archiving.
