Marketplace and Export Manager Remote – Flexible to travel 12 Month Contract.
Up to £60,000 + Package.
The Advocate Group are partnered with a global leader in the Footwear and Apparel category who are looking for a Marketplace and Export Manager.
This individual will be responsible for driving business growth within marketplace retailers while overseeing all export regions.
This role involves managing relationships with distributors, agents, and direct retail accounts across various categories.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the management of Next PLC and Zalando accounts, from collection sell-in to sell-out, including forecasting, product flow, and data analysis.
Identify and facilitate the opening of new distribution points in line with the strategic plan.
Develop and implement a long-term strategy for marketplace activities, ensuring Ariat's premium presentation.
Conduct market analysis and report findings to the Sales Director, ensuring timely and professional completion of all reporting and administration tasks.
Build strong relationships with the management team to align on business goals and support initiatives.
Execute the export strategic plan by identifying growth opportunities in the EMEA region and continuously improving internal processes.
Manage relationships with agents and distributors to uphold brand vision and encourage cross-selling across all regions.
Prepare thoroughly for account meetings, including numerical data, available samples, and insights on market trends.
Support retailers in maintaining a robust brand presence through effective in-store merchandising and online strategies.
Visit key markets to gain a deeper understanding of opportunities and market dynamics.
Perform additional duties as required.
Skills: 5+ years of sales experience.
Knowledge of the European market.
Confident decision-making abilities.
Strong problem-solving and change management skills.
Proficient in analytical reporting and data interpretation.
A full, clean driving license valid in the UK and EU.
A passport that permits unrestricted travel within Europe and the US.
