About the Team & Business Line: The Marketing and Communications (Marcoms) function within Citco Group provides a wide range of content to existing and prospective clients as well as our approximate 10,000 staff across 40 locations worldwide, covering social media posts, articles for media outlets, videos, thought-leadership reports and surveys, to name a few.
The Group is comprised of a series of companies and divisions that provide a broad range of services to the private equity, hedge fund, pensions, multinational corporation and private wealth sectors.
The Marketing and Communications lead will be responsible for the development and supervision of all marketing and communications strategies for the Citco Group of Companies.
The individual will oversee the development of goals, strategies and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.
This role will encompass all Marketing and Communications activities at a global/group level, covering both external and internal campaigns – as well as advisory support to the leadership team.
This role will be fast-paced and involve working with a very broad range of senior executive stakeholders globally, and our supporting marketing agencies to create highly creative and engaging internal communications campaigns for both internal and external use.
Your Role: Senior counsel including crisis communications: Evidence of crisis communications advice provided to brands from both a media/external and preventative/internal perspective – ideally on subjects of a technical and legal nature; Including counsel on product and service launches, including competitor research and product differentiation; Proven experience of providing strategic advice to global brands at a leadership level; Providing concrete examples of global campaigns launched from inception to successful completion.
Branding and messaging: An interest in working with customer experience (CX) teams, providing concrete advice when needed; Proven examples of branding projects managed from inception to completion, including website/microsite creation and messaging projects.
Reporting and metrics: Demonstratable experience of decision-making based on marketing campaign data and analytics.
The ability to compile metrics across Google Analytics, social media, media and downloads, tracking ROI when possible on discrete campaigns.
Content marketing: Demonstrable experience of crafting corporate storytelling and narrative.
Examples of campaigns launched to promote distinct products and services with media-friendly angles and proven results required.
On external communications, the marketing team covers Citco Fund Services, the Citco Banks, Citco Corporate Solutions under the main Citco Brand, and the Mercator, which focus on entity management solutions for multinationals.
Therefore, the candidate must already have a working knowledge of alternative investments, institutional investment and corporate services – including evidence of their ability to rapidly understand and advise upon complex services and technologies.
Proven content generation, editing and writing skills is a must as – although heading a team – granular experience of managing, writing and editing campaigns from inception is required; Understands, articulates and develops market trends and themes; Covering both internal and external campaigns – from International Women's Day to the release of regular Hedge Fund performance metrics.
Digital marketing: Highly analytical and data/insight focused approach; Thorough understanding of online demand generation, buyer journeys and funnel management, having delivered campaigns in a trading-like environment.
About You: You will have experience as an internal communications specialist in-house or in an agency in a similar role.
Agency – Associate to Director-level; in-house – communications senior manager to director-level.
Knowledge of social media and experience in managing campaigns digitally.
Some knowledge of the institutional investment sector or financial services in general is a plus but not essential.
