About The Role As an Exam Invigilator , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that exams are conducted in accordance with the school's regulations and procedures.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fair and supportive examination environment.
Key Responsibilities Of Exam Invigilator Supervise Exams: Oversee the examination room to ensure a calm and orderly environment.
Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all exam protocols are followed, including the correct distribution and collection of exam papers.
Assist Students: Provide clear instructions to students before, during, and after the exam, and then attend to any queries.
Monitor Conduct: Vigilantly monitor students to prevent any form of malpractice or cheating.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that occur during the exam.
Support Staff: Work closely with other invigilators and school staff to ensure the smooth running of the examination process.
Requirements Of Exam Invigilator Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and support to students.
Reliability: Punctual and reliable, with a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and afternoons, during the exam period.

DBS Check: Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
