Freelance - Events Marketing Manager – B2B Global Media Group - London Are you a passionate and driven Marketing Manager looking to make a significant impact in the world of events?
DNA Recruit is working with a leading B2B Global Media Group who are on the hunt for a Freelance Marketing Manager to start from 2 December until end April 2025, 3 days per week.
About the Role: We are looking for an event marketer with a minimum of 3 year's experience, who is currently working at a manager level or equivalent.
This role will be working on behalf of one of our key clients, delivering a medical conference and exhibition taking place towards the end of March 2025 and will be reporting into the Head of Marketing.
As such this role needs someone with excellent communication, project/ time management skills and effective stakeholder management.
They need to be able to hit the ground running to support the day-to-day activities and deliver the marketing strategy for this event and on-going and post event reporting and tracking.
The campaign has already launched but is currently undergoing a review and this role would need to take an agile work approach to test, learn and optimise activities and the wider campaign.
There would also be a requirement to attend the event and support onsite across the four days, which includes the build-up of the event Roles & Responsibilities: Oversight, coordination and execution of the activities in the event marketing plan Copywriting and content creation for your event marketing activities Scheduling of activities in close collaboration with the clients in-house team Ongoing liaison with the clients in-house designer, event and digital teams to ensure the best user journey and optimisation of key channels for delegate acquisition campaigns Campaign activity tracking and ongoing reporting Optimisation of the campaign based on results Execution of paid campaigns (if appropriate) Onsite support of social media activity during the Conference Curation and coordination of delegate feedback questionnaires Post-event analysis and delegate feedback and creation of full post-event report Skills & Experience Required: 3 years Event marketing experience Effective project and time management skills, able to lead on the day-to-day delivery of the marketing strategy/ plan already created across all key marketing channels Campaign production, copywriting, social media, paid digital campaign set-up and management, budget management, on-going reporting and tracking, post-show and demographics reporting Plus, stakeholder management, supplier management, excellent communication skills and be up to date of marketing best practices and legal compliances Salary: £200 per day Job Reference: 11595 All applications are viewed and evaluated according to the role requirements.
