European Sales Manager (Private Label)

We are handling an excellent opportunity for an International Sales Manager with a background in FMCG or consumer durables and a wealth of experience selling to European retailers.
This is a new role for the company which has been created as a result of the growth already achieved in Europe and the huge potential for continued expansion.
The business enjoys sales with blue-chip retailers such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Carrefour, El Corte Ingles etc…etc… This position will focus on furthering the company's private label sales in Europe.
Collaborating with the design and buying teams within major retailers, the business produces custom, quality, design-led and innovative products which have enjoyed notable success in the USA, the UK, Europe and beyond.
The role reports directly to the EMEA CEO and comes with the autonomy to seek and develop business wherever opportunities present themselves.
The creation of this position is indicative of the board's intentions to further prioritise international expansion.
The position is home-based so the successful candidate can live in the UK or Europe.
Regular European travel will be required of course.

A warm, and internationally aware business which has identified that its future growth will disproportionately come from international markets.
The business has enjoyed significant success in selling directly to retail in addition to the traditional distributor management channel.
The Package The business will design a package to attract the right candidate.
It is anticipated that the overall package will be between 70,000-100,000 euros.
The Person The business requires a successful background in International Sales attained within consumer goods.
You will have worked as an Export Sales Manager / International Sales Manager/ European Account Manager within a consumer durables or FMCG business (food or non-food) and be experienced in private label sales.
The business wishes to hire a linguist and is very interested in considering fluent speakers of French, German and/or Spanish in addition to English.
Alternative titles of suitable applicants include International Sales Executive, European Sales Executive, Export Sales Executive, Export Sales Manager, European Sales Manager, International Account Manager, and European Account Manager.
