Join us as an Engineering Stores Technician in Ferrybridge!
The Engineering Stores Technician is responsible for the management of maintenance stores to ensure an adequate level of identified spares is available for use in the plant.
What youll do: Conduct accurate stock checks, raise purchase requisitions, and record all stock and non-stock items.
Liaise with external vendors to maintain appropriate stock levels and storage.
Maintain the workshop and storerooms in an orderly condition by conducting appropriate health & safety and housekeeping activities.
Support the Engineering team on maintenance days with maintenance tasks.
What youll bring: Experience in or a strong appreciation for Engineering is required, while industry experience is highly advantageous.
Demonstrable experience in stock management.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and proactively problem solve.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
