Environmental Specialist

Environmental SpecialistCK Group are recruiting for an Environmental Specialist to join a Chemical company at their sites around Wigan on a permanent basis.
The Company: Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location: This role is located at our client's site in Standish, but will also cover their other site in Wigan.
Process Engineer Role: Your main duties will be: The management and improvement of the company's environmental management system.To provide guidance on environmental legislation and internal environmental standards.Developing the environmental strategy for the company.Continually improve the company's environmental performance.
Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have: A degree level education in environmental sciences or chemical engineering.Prior experience in environmental management in chemical manufacturing.A broad and in-depth knowledge of environmental legislation, ISO14001, ISO50001 and environmental permits.
