*Role best suits a developing Environmental professional looking to advance their career within a large company* Salary plus car/allowance Mon to Fri Hybrid role - home based with travel, including some overnight stays across England Here at ISS, as one of the UK's largest and most successful Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to expand our service offering against a prestigious central Government account by developing our Sustainability team, in recruiting an Environmental Compliance Officer to cover the client's portfolio of sites in England Working in a small Environmental Compliance team you will work with internal and client stakeholders to ensure ISO 14001 adherence via site auditing and training.
You will also empower ISS and client site teams to work in an Environmentally friendly way, acting collaboratively with patience and understanding The client's estate is varied, across different types of building and sizes, all with their own particular challenges for the Facilities and Sustainability team This is a fantastic role for a Grad with a relevant degree looking to expand your knowledge working for a major employer on a massive government contract with ample opportunity to make a practical, front line difference Actions will include: Ensuring customers internal audit programme remains compliant and on-track.
Supporting with action management.
Supporting with external certification audits as requested.
Delivery of the customers internal audit programme and supporting the Environmental Manager in programme compliance.
Producing clear and concise audit reports and programmes.
Engaging with stakeholders on action management.
Supporting environmental incident investigations.
We need from you: A relevant degree plus some practical experience, and ability to travel Experience in Facilities Management would be useful
