Environmental Advisor

The Environmental Specialist will manage environmental compliance at Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Facilities in the UK & IE.
They will partner with operations leadership teams to execute company environmental procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities include managing multi-site environmental responsibilities, participating in the development of environmental management control systems, and measuring and analyzing site performance against environmental policies.
Other duties include completing environmental inspections, monitoring metrics, and managing waste management activities.
The Environmental Specialist will also support other sites with environmental compliance and ensure site leadership and employee training.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering and experience serving as an environmental technical resource or program specialist.
Skills required include excellent English written and verbal communication skills, experience with Regulatory Agencies, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The ideal candidate will be detail-minded and technically oriented, with experience managing change in multiple site environments and the ability to influence peers and superiors.
