Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect Initial 6 month contract, c.£600pd inside IR35, hybrid - 1-2 days onsite in Staffordshire per week We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a Higher Education organisation on a contract basis.
In this role, you will lead the transformation and continuous improvement of our client's enterprise and solutions architecture, ensuring a coherent and integrated approach across the organisation.
You will provide expert guidance to the technical teams, challenge their ideas, and create strategic roadmaps to drive technology and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement enterprise and solutions architecture strategies.
Drive transformation and technical improvement across the organisation's systems and services.
Ensure integration and alignment of systems (HR, ERP, VLE, SITS, M365, etc.).
Provide architectural leadership and challenge technical teams to achieve best practices.
Create and maintain architectural blueprints and roadmaps.
Guide the architecture of a scalable, flexible, and secure IT environment.
Maintain a strong focus on improving technology performance and user experience.
Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in enterprise and solutions architecture.
Strong background in transformation projects and technology improvement.
Expertise in integration architecture and creating coherent IT structures.
Knowledge of ITIL, SITS, VLE, M365, HR, and ERP systems.
Experience in developing and maintaining architectural blueprints and roadmaps.
Higher Education sector experience is preferred.
Public sector experience is essential.
