Zen Educate are currently looking for an English Teacher in Plymouth to work at a Secondary School.The school is looking to appoint a Teacher whilst they are recruiting on a permanent basis.The role will be full time, Monday - Friday, and will contain a scheme of work for the children but there is an element of planning and marking to the role.Duties- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students, from Year 7-11- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies- Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experienceRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field- Teaching certification or qualification in English education- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teachingOther benefits include:Want to get a head start?
