Engineering Manager Location: Manchester Salary: £50,000 + Benefits Working Days: Days We are looking for a motivated Engineering Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer in their respective field.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Engineering Manager to join a well-established company and engineering team.
As an Engineering Manager, you will be tasked with the running and continuous improvement of the Maintenance & Engineering Department.
You should be a strong man-manager with a comprehensive engineering background within a manufacturing/production environment.
This role will appeal to an autonomous individual with a clear understanding of how to run a successful engineering team within a pressurized environment.
This position is ideal for a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Role Description: Assist management in direct oversight of the department's daily operation.
Supervise and participate in the completion of the assigned PMs to ensure departmental KPIs.
Develop and improve PPM & TPM Systems.
Be involved in Project Work.
Procure Engineering Spares & Consumables.
Assign, train, develop, and supervise the work of engineering staff on shift.
Skills and Qualifications: Engineering/Maintenance Manager Experience.
Industrial experience - Advantageous .
Food/FMCG Experience - Advantageous .
Strong Man Management Skills.
NVQ/HNC/HND/Degree - Electrical Background.
