GLRF Secretariat Manager£50,788 - £52,805 per annumLocation: Tri Service Centre, Quedgeley, Gloucester This is an exciting opportunity to join the Local Resilience Forum (LRF)Secretariat in Gloucestershire.**About The Role**The Local Resilience Forum is a partnership of category 1, category 2,volunteers and other partners who work together to ensure that Gloucestershirecan effectively prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.We are seeking to appoint a LRF Secretariat Manager to facilitate the work ofthe LRF in Gloucestershire. This will include working closely with the abovepartner agencies and Central Government to ensure Gloucestershire meets itsrequirements under the Civil Contingencies Act (CCA) 2004. It will alsorequire the successful applicant to support the LRF chair and executive boardand coordinate multi-agency work at the national, strategic and tacticallevels through an understanding of CCA command and control arrangements.**About You**The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a LRF, the ability toforge strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders andevidence of supporting partner agencies to respond to the demands of shiftingpriorities and unplanned events.We are seeking an individual who is educated to degree level (or who candemonstrate equivalent experience), self-motivated and able to use theirinitiative.
