Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading the marketing of IDEXX Water products in EMEA.
Work collaboratively with other marketing professionals, including global product marketing and communications teams, to develop and execute marketing strategies, communication plans, and product campaigns.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns in partnership with global product marketing team and regional sales teams.
Manage ongoing marketing campaigns in the EMEA region.
Serve as primary coordination point for all customer mass communications in the region.
Establish and maintain communication calendar and/or project tracking system.
Manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, evaluate performance, and manage escalated/critical issues.
Administer employment actions, provide coaching and guidance to staff, and promote staff training and development.
Support the development and management of department policies and procedures.
Identify the most effective marketing channels to reach customers.
Create and implement plans to develop/expand company presence in these channels.
Collaborate and work cross-functionally with company creative resources and outside creative agencies.
Oversee and/or perform copy writing, creative design, and similar work.
Conduct customer research.
Identify customer needs and market trends.
Understand competitive market dynamics in the region.
Develop tactical plans to differentiate our offering vs. competitors in the local market.
Ensure strong marketing and sales collaboration across the region.
Collaborate with the sales team to promote products in the marketplace.
Support sales team activities at industry events, such as conferences.
Understand factors impacting sales achievement and incorporate insights into marketing programs.
Serve as primary contact point for regional sales team regarding marketing topics.
Plan, support, and/or participate in customer education events, such as webinars and seminars.
Provide and/or support ongoing sales and marketing training for sales team.
Identify needs for product/technical training and coordinate with appropriate teams to support training delivery.
Define and achieve financial and other objectives for marketing programs.
Review financial and customer data to identify trends and monitor marketing performance.
Responsible for budget setting, monitoring, and control.
Some international and domestic travel may be required (10-20%) Requires periodic in-office presence at our Newmarket, UK office (2-4 times per month) What You Will Need to Succeed A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Master's Degree or equivalent preferred.
5 to 7 years of experience minimum with international marketing responsibility?MARKETING AND STRATEGY International marketing experience in the EMEA region Demonstrated marketing and product management skills (segmentation, product positioning, pricing, forecasting and promotion, etc.)
Strong experience with digital marketing channels, including e-mail, search, and social media Ability to manage strategy and details concurrently Solid technical and market knowledge preferred ANALYSIS AND PLANNING Analytical and modeling expertise Strong problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate and resolve issues Ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects Ability to develop and implement strategic programs Financial acumen and budget management skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Basic/solid understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM systems COLLABORATION AND LEADERSHIP Proven management and leadership skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong/advanced presentation skills Proven ability to work in and lead teams which are highly matrixed, cross functional, and technical Foreign language is a plus Why IDEXXWe're proud of the work we do because our work matters.
