Are you an experienced professional in electrical installation with a passion for teaching and assessing?
Join DN College Group as an Electrical Installation Trainer/Assessor and help shape the future of our apprentices.Deliver and assess work-based learning programmes in Electrical Installation, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
You'll plan, delivery and assess electrical installation training, ensuring learners receive high-quality education and support throughout their apprenticeship.Daily Responsibilities:Programme delivery in a practical and theory setting.Carrying out workplace assessments.Support learners with functional skills and other learning needs.Conduct Health and Safety monitoring visits.Assist in developing delivery materials and curriculum.Manage a caseload of learners and conduct regular reviews.Promote learning opportunities to students and employers.Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of students.Build strong relationships with learners, employers, and colleagues.Essential Criteria:L3 Electrical Installation qualifications or equivalent (preferably via an Apprenticeship).GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.Experience in training within the industry.Practical experience in electrical installation.Teaching/Training/Assessing Qualification.18th Edition or equivalent (BS7671).City & Guilds 2391.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to motivate and inspire apprentices.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and generous holidays (30 days + 2 weeks at Christmas + bank holidays)Opportunities for professional development.Supportive and inclusive working environment.Make a real difference in the lives of apprentices.To apply for this post click 'Apply now' or for further information email - please note that DNCG closes from 19th Dec - Jan 6th and no emails will be responded to in that time. Closing date: 12th JanuaryAs part of the recruitment process and in line with keeping children safe in education, we will conduct social media checks on shortlisted candidates.  Additionally, before commencing employment, all employees undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS. Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK.
