As we embark on the next phase of our customer-centric, value creation journey, we are seeking an E-Commerce Manager (DTC) to cultivate online success, and shape and execute our ecommerce strategy.
As part of our E-Commerce team, reporting to our Head of E-Commerce, you'll be accountable for end-to-end online business success driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience and championing technological innovation on our three UK direct-to-consumer eCommerce websites.
Core Responsibilities: The E-Commerce Manager (DTC) is responsible for the overall success of our three direct to consumer eCommerce websites in the UK: Mr Fothergill's, DT Brown, Johnsons.
Here are some of the main responsibilities for this role: Strategy Execution: Develop and implement eCommerce plans to drive sales, conversions, and customer engagement.
Product & Inventory Management: Oversee product listings, stock levels, and site merchandising to enhance user experience.
Sales Optimization: Improve conversion rates, upselling, and average order value through data-driven decisions and A/B testing.
Campaign Management: Plan and execute sales promotions and digital marketing campaigns, in collaboration with the marketing team.
Customer Experience: Enhance site usability, mobile optimization, and personalization to improve the customer journey.
Analytics & Reporting: Use performance data (traffic, sales, conversion rates) to inform decisions and optimize results.
Technical & Logistics Coordination: Work with the development and logistics teams to ensure smooth site functionality and fast order fulfilment.
We are looking for someone who will bring their eCommerce expertise to elevate and scale our ecommerce business to be a multimillion-dollar success story.
You will be highly data-driven, strategic, and operational, balancing sales goals with a focus on customer satisfaction, website performance, and brand alignment.
You will have a proven track record in doing so and will also demonstrate: Expertise in Ecommerce : Previous experience of managing eCommerce websites ideally on Shopify Plus and with experience of working within a high performing eCommerce business and growing channels whilst improving the online shopping experience.
Product Management : Expert at managing a large product catalogue, at managing a variety of promotions, and optimising conversion rates and average order value.
Analytical Strength : Skilled in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring Collaboration Skills : Ability to work with a multi-functional team both within the E-Commerce department (performance marketing, product, data) and with corporate functions (finance, marketing, IT).
Passion for Gardening : Interest in horticulture or experience in a gardening-related business is a bonus!
