Draughtsman – £40,000 per annum Location: Hull Salary: £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role: As a Draughtsman, you will play a key role in translating client requirements and design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans.
Working closely with our engineers and project teams, you will ensure designs meet specifications, adhere to industry standards, and align with our commitment to quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities: Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
Interpret technical specifications and create accurate drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
Review and modify existing drawings to improve functionality or meet updated requirements.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality protocols.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of technical drawings and documents.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in engineering or manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and clients.
A relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent) is desirable.
