Job title:Domestic Gas Servicing Engineer / Plumber Main purpose of job: Carrying out service, maintenance, small project works and breakdown of domestic boilers and heating systems.
Responsible to: Mechanical Manager Liaison with: Office staff, Clients, Engineers, Sub Contractors.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Servicing Engineer / Plumber to join our team.
In this dual role, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and breakdowns of both domestic heating systems.
You will work across a variety of environments, ensuring high-quality work and exceptional customer service Responsible for: Perform maintenance, servicing, and breakdowns on domestic boilers and heating systems .
Fault finding and reactive breakdowns on Domestic gas boilers and ancillary plant including pumps, pressure sets, expansion vessels etc.
Fault finding and reactive breakdowns on domestic heating systems.
Assist with small project works associated to boiler and heating system installations.
To participate in the out of hours call out rota.
The candidate Further training will be provided for the right candidate without experience in commercial heating systems.
Experienced in all aspects of gas boiler servicing (Advantageous) Gas Safe qualified Domestic (Essential) Full driving licence (Essential) LPG (advantageous) Oil (advantageous) Pipe work installation (advantageous) FGAS qualified (advantageous) 18th edition Electrical (advantageous) Experience working within a building services company handling various heating systems.
Qualifications and Experience NVQ Level 2-3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
25 years of experience in building maintenance, particularly in domestic and educational settings.
