Kier Group is looking for an MEP Project Manager to join our internal MEP self delivery business in the southern region.
Kier M&E work closely with the Kier Build team to deliver turnkey M&E solutions across projects in a wide range of sectors.
The MEP Project Manager will report into the Operations Director and be overseeing two new projects in our Southern Region.
Initially the role would be based from Basingstoke for Pre-Construction and will then have more of a site presence when we ramp up for delivery.
Both projects are in the Hampshire region on the South Coast.
Location : Basingstoke Contract : Full-time, Permanent.

What will you be responsible for?
As an MEP Project Manager you will sit within our Kier M&E business and be accountable for: Managing project delivery from initial bid stage to completion.
Meeting company objectives post-contract.
Input into pre-contract requirements focusing on customer care and business excellence.
Report on project performance and finance to the Operations Director.
Further key responsibilities will include: Identify and manage project risks with effective mitigation measures.
Manage procurement and delivery of subcontractor and supplier packages.
Ensure compliance with project quality management procedures by the supply chain.
Oversee the MEP delivery team including QA, design, procurement, commercial, installation, commissioning, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Implement and comply with Kier's SHE policy, procedures, legal requirements, and best practices.
What are we looking for?
Previous Project Management experience within the Construction industry.
A sound knowledge and technical understanding of MEP systems.
Commercially and Contractually aware.
The ability to lead a team and drive a project forward.
