We are seeking a Document Controller to join our team, based in our Regional Office in Birchwood, Warrington.
About the Role: As a Document Controller, you will be at the heart of our project delivery, ensuring that all project documentation is managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards.
You will work closely with the Regional Team, supporting multiple construction projects across the Northwest region, from inception through to completion.
Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and organisation of project documents, facilitating seamless communication, and ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities: · Document Management: Develop and implement document control solutions tailored to the needs of each project.
Ensure all hard and soft copy documents are accurately filed, easily accessible, and consistently updated.
· Procore Management: Manage and maintain all project documentation on Procore, including daily checks to verify the status, accuracy, and completeness of all documents.
Ensure that all commented drawings and status changes are promptly recorded and actioned.
· Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and various internal departments to ensure that all project documentation is kept in the correct location, recorded accurately, and distributed as required.
· Filing and Archiving: Maintain and update hard copy filing systems, drawing racks, and registers both in the office and on-site.
Ensure that all documentation is securely stored and easily retrievable.
· Compliance: Ensure that all documentation processes comply with industry standards, project requirements, and company policies.
Provide support during audits and ensure that all documentation is in order.
What You'll Need: · Experience: Previous experience as a Document Controller in the construction or property development industry is essential.
Proficiency in using document management systems like Procore is highly desirable.
· Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to document management, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
· Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
· Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
· IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document control software and systems.
