Main duties of the jobDistrict and Community nurses visit people who are housebound of all ages 18+ in their own homes or residential homes.

Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesMAIN DUTIES Managing Care:
To have responsibility for the effective delivery of nursing care to patients as delegated by District Nurse Team Manager.
To undertake skilled nursing activities related to the assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
Managing Resources:
To teach and supervise the clinical practice of team members and identify training needs.
Quality:
To participate in policy and standard setting, quality initiatives, and clinical audit.
