Digital Commerce Strategy Manager – London Contract opportunity Our client is seeking a Digital Commerce Strategy Manager to join their team on a 7-month contract basis with the potential for further extension.
As a Digital Commerce Strategy Manager, your role will be to help shape and execute cutting-edge digital commerce strategies for one of the worlds leading beverage companies as part of their Consumer Digital Transformation Team.
About the role As a Digital Commerce Strategy Manager in the Digital Commerce Strategy Team, you will support the end-to-end analysis and strategic recommendations for relevant projects.
This is a hybrid role, where they are looking for both hands-on into the weeds data analysis experience and also, the ability to ask strategic questions and use the data to derive relevant insights to then build strategies.
Roles & Responsibilities Own the end-to-end delivery of strategy project from defining an approach to delivery and follow-ups Collect and analyse data points from multiple sources and stakeholders to identify relevant signals that lead to insights Have a strong point of view on strategic insights and be able to defend consumer-first recommendations, findings, and thinking with a compelling story and narrative to the team Be able to combine business objectives, consumer needs, and technical solutions; translating these into impactful digital commerce strategies, propositions, and operating models to succeed Help to map market and global digital transformation journey and landscape in the context of consumer, economic, technological and cultural trends Collaborate with cross-functional digital team members to identify new projects or recommendations to implement based on past findings and observations Develop research reports to identify opportunities for our digital propositions based on learnings, including monitoring, and evaluating initiatives for opportunity areas Required skillset and experience 3-5 years' experience in managing digital projects and working in digital strategy roles.
Either in consulting, agency, or in-house Deep understanding of consumer digital ecosystems across touchpoints including D2C, marketplaces, pure players, quick commerce and e-grocery Significant experience working in global roles across multiple markets and regions Intermediate to advances understanding of digital analytics (Google Analytics, Search Keywords, Media effectiveness, Social Listening etc.)
and consumer behavioral research that can inform consumer journeys and segments Highly organised, able to manage multiple deliveries & stakeholders simultaneously, and work as a self-starter Proactive in identifying potential issues, raising them, and suggesting solutions Ability to work in collaborative team environment and manage relationships with team & business partners Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, which includes communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Creative problem-solving skills that help find new solutions without stopping at the first roadblock This is a hybrid position, with ideal candidates being commutable to our clients London head office.
