The information below provides more detail about the role and you may also wish to learn a little more about working for South Hampshire College Group by viewing the below video. We offer great benefits including; Employer pension contribution of 27.1%. 30 days holiday a year (plus bank holidays)Regular training and development. Pathways to teaching qualifications. Duties: Successful management of safeguarding service processes and delivering correct support and guidance as required.  Lead provision of targeted interventions and pastoral support for learners with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties  Lead and manage the processes and record keeping associated with Looked After Young People and Care Leavers Oversee the inclusion of Care Experienced students and manage their support and development Skills/Experience: Effective knowledge of Safeguarding processes and procedures Significant experience of supporting children and vulnerable adults, particularly those identified within the CLA and Care Leaver categories Significant experience of working with external agencies, including both statutory and voluntary. Qualifications: Psychology/education qualification and or experience within the safeguarding/wellbeing arena. Mental Health Qualification Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent The planned closing date for this position is 12th January 2025, however we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
