We actively support individual 'Continuing Professional Development' as part of our mission to deliver excellent patient care to all those using our services.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Dermatology and be strongly motivated to deliver kind and compassionate care to this patient group.
You will deliver a range of light therapy modalities including UV-A, UV-B, PUVA, and Iontophoresis, as well as the assessment of patients through patch testing; you will adjust the dosages as indicated to optimise treatment for each individual.
You will work independently within the team under the supervision of the Team Leader to schedule and operate outpatient clinics effectively and efficiently, ensuring that safety is the highest priority.
You will recognise and escalate any adverse reactions or problems without delay to senior clinicians to ensure that patient care remains safe and effective at all times.
Be accountable for performing regular assessments on patient needs, to plan, implement and evaluate care delivery and be adaptable to changing health care requirements.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives, and carers to always ensure their involvement in the decisions about treatment, planning and the delivery of their care.
