The Deputy Manager will assist in supervising staff, managing kitchen operations, and enhancing guest experiences.
Responsibilities Assist the General & Assistant Managers in overseeing daily operations within the establishment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Supervise and train FOH team, to maintain high standards of service.
Manage team dynamics, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
Ensure that all food preparation meets quality standards and is served promptly to guests.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential, preferably in a pub/restaurant setting.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations is required.
Proven experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
