Our Market Data team is looking for a Data Licensing Specialist.
Oversee and optimise a dynamic and accurate inventory of data licensing rights, while offering expert guidance and insights to our stakeholders.
Drive impactful decisions and ensure the seamless management of valuable data assets for our internal teams here at Capula.
Duties and Responsibilities The role covers all aspects of the data management lifecycle associated with the firm's market data and security master systems, including requirements gathering and analysis, commercial agreements, and data quality maintenance Drive impactful commercial agreements and ensure data quality maintenance, all while shaping the future of our data operations Collaborate with users and stakeholders to transform intricate requirements into actionable development tasks Simplify complex needs into a series of manageable steps, driving innovation and ensuring seamless execution Clearly communicate project status, risks, and dependencies, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged to ensure alignment and awareness of key developments Address discrepancies, resolve compliance issues, and find innovative ways to utilise data throughout the firm Requirements 2 to 5 years' experience in Market Data Knowledge of financial industry data sources, providers, and products Background in analysing, designing, and implementing processes and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management Excellent written communication skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation) Excellent verbal communication skills Strong negotiation skills Proven track record of meeting deadlines Adept at multitasking Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or other numerical disciplines) FISD (Financial Information Associate or Data Licensing Specialist) Benefits Capula is committed to helping all employees flourish in their roles by supporting your professional development and offering exposure to challenges that you may not encounter in a larger organisation.
