Data Analyst (4-Month Contract) Salary : £300-£350 per day Location : Remote (UK-based) Key Feature : Immediate Start (January 2024) We are working with a forward-thinking organisation specialising in legal services, supporting complex investigations on an international scale.
This project-oriented role offers a unique opportunity for a Data Analyst to contribute to meaningful work in the analysis and structuring of critical data related to international crimes.
This consultancy position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for uncovering impactful insights through data.
The Role The Data Analyst will organise, structure, and enhance the accessibility of a substantial database on international crimes, aiding investigators in extracting insights and patterns essential for ongoing cases.
Working with the team and leveraging platforms like SharePoint, the Data Analyst will create well-organised and actionable datasets that support legal processes and policy recommendations.
Key Responsibilities Analyse data within large international crime databases, extracting patterns and identifying key trends.
Organise and structure the database for easy accessibility and searchability, ensuring data categorisation and tagging are optimised.
Perform quality checks to maintain data integrity, addressing any inconsistencies, missing data, or errors.
Generate reports and visualisations that translate complex data into insights accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with the project team, supporting the effective use of data in investigations and strategy discussions.
Essential Skills Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R) and data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau).
Strong understanding of database management and data integrity practices, particularly for large, sensitive datasets.
Experience with SharePoint or similar platforms for data management and team collaboration.
Attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in data quality and reporting.
Exceptional communication skills to facilitate data sharing with legal experts and investigators.
