Customer Team Manager - Developer Services

About the roleWe have a great opportunity to become a Customer Team Manager for our Developer Services team.You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Developer Services Water team to ensure that new mains and water service quotations are delivered to regulatory timescales and accurate cost.You'll be passionate about providing the best possible levels of customer service, creating positive experiences for our customers whilst also motivating our people, and driving performance improvements across your team and its wider department context.You'll ensure that all team members have appropriate and stretching performance targets that are value-adding and simple-to-understand.
You will also ensure effective planning and monitoring of work-streams to ensure all targets are achieved; this includes regulatory targets.About youYou'll be an enthusiastic customer service professional with experience in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment, who is positive to step-up and be a strong and visible leader, along with having the proven ability to build and cultivate strong and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and actively manage customer expectations.This frontline leadership role requires you to be passionate about creating both unrivalled customer and employee experiences, and you live that passion authentically every day, inspiring people and continually striving to improve and excel.You'll be able to review performance and insights data, can drill into the data in order to continuously review our offer and approach and drive improvements throughout key customer journeys.We're looking for you to have proven experience of providing excellent customer service and managing work queues and SLAs.You'll ideally have a Level 3 qualification or have equivalent proven experience in managing a team in a fast-paced customer focussed environment.Whilst not essential, experience in the water industry or a regulated environment would be advantageous.Here at Northumbrian Water/Essex & Suffolk Water, we embrace and value Diversity, Inclusion and Equity which means bringing your full self to work.
