About the roleThe role will work collaboratively across the Asset Management and Operational directorates to ensure our capital and maintenance activity is set up for success and NWG continue to operate as a leading asset management organisation.Within this role you will conduct a joint review of acquired engineering drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and relevance to asset information requirements by working closely with operational teams to validate legacy content for use in capital and integrated delivery projects.
A key part of this role will see you search and identify engineering drawings and documents relevant to operational sites, including plans, schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications verifying authenticity and currency.Within this role you will work with business stakeholders to create a programme of work to deliver content which has the most benefit to the increased capital spend we are undertaking and enable NWG to deliver on its promises and commitments to our customers.
The role will also devise and deliver training and awareness sessions to share processes for the ongoing collection, storage and retrieval of high quality digital information.About youYou will have experience of using CAD software particularly AutoCAD and/or Revit.
You will have knowledge of engineering/construction, particularly in information management and creation.
A HNC or HND qualification in applicable discipline with CAD module is desirable, as is knowledge of a process industry.If you have understanding of asset information types and formats this will be extremely beneficial, as will knowledge of creation and maintenance of asset information and systems.As an individual you will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and experience of delivering projects in a timely manner.
