Job Title Customer Solutions Manager (Sales) Region Europe Country Northern Ireland/Ireland Location Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions Belfast Function Sales Closing Date 15th November 2024 Overview/Background We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Solutions Manager who can win new business and help to grow Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solution Belfasts market share.
This is a key position within the business and we are looking for a pro-active, customer focused individual to come and be part of the team!
This role has a mix of both new business development & account management and reports into the Plant Manager in Belfast.
You will be a confident sales professional and a natural 'people-person', you will thrive on networking with existing and potential customers to bring in new business across the organisation.
Main Tasks/Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Win new business and to grow our market share through use of the Value Selling Process Support the development of Packaging Solutions best practise and innovation to strengthen our position as market leaders.
Support UK eCommerce strategy through implementing the go-to-market strategy, best practices and developing sales enablement toolkits.
To understand the customer and market specific challenges and pains in relation to consumable packaging and contribute in building tailored added value solutions.
Achieving sales volume, revenue and budget targets as defined by the Plant Manager.
Identifying Sales Targets, pursuing and monitoring progress of these targets to conclusion via Microsoft Dynamics CRM All other duties as deemed appropriate by the Plant Manager Key Competencies/Qualifications/Requirements Essential Criteria: Be educated to third level, or equivalent experience Be Customer focused and have sales experience working in the packaging industry and/or a B2B sales environment with proven ability to win new business through direct customer contact.
Possess solid account management skills with a strong drive to deliver customer satisfaction and sustainable profit and volume growth within the business.
Have excellent spoken and written communication skills Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Be a dedicated team player with a can-do attitude and passion to grow Smurfit Westrocks market-share.
Have a creative mindset and tenacious approach to suit a dynamic and competitive market.
Be logical, consistent & resourceful in your approach.
Have a full driving licence.
Desirable Criteria: Full training will be provided however experience and understanding of the Corrugated/Packaging sector is an advantage.
Ideally have experience dealing directly with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering or Supply Chain departments in manufacturing industry.
