Customer Service Advisor, Distribution CentrePermanent, Full Time The Customer Service Advisor plays a central role at the Distribution Centre, ensuring an efficient and high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
This role supports our field based colleagues and support teams enabling them to provide an excellent operational service at all times.
*Please note this role is based in the office full time, 5 days a week.
Monday -Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7:30am-3:30pm*What you'll be doing Liaising with customers effectively to provide high levels of customer satisfaction and commercial successProviding product knowledge and support to field based colleagues and support teamsManaging the effective delivery of customers material order requirementsCollating and co-ordinating van stock deliveries to ensure no deliveries are missed and all colleagues on each run receive their deliveries when expectedAnswering incoming telephone calls, maintaining excellent customer service whilst dealing/resolving all issuesEnsuring delivery dates and times are recorded accuratelyPrioritise and plan for any responsive colleague orders/collectionsEnsuring van stock deliveries meet schedule and quality expectationsLiaising with the planning teams for colleague holidays and sicknessProcessing orders by colleague by sending purchase orders to suppliersWhat you'll needExperience of dealing with customersExperience working in a similar environment such as a builders' merchantExperience in using warehouse based stock systemIndustry product knowledgeUse of full range of Microsoft OfficeAbility to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressureAttention to detailEffective liaison with staff/other stakeholders to give information/find information/resolve problemsThe ability to develop and project a positive image of Great Places through personal, written and oral skillsEmpathy with our tenants and residents and willingness to deliver exceptional customer serviceWhat we need from youAbility to work as part of a team as well as on own initiativeProactive, can do attitudeA commitment to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the communities in which we work.
