This role manage and monitor credit risks within the bank's lending portfolio.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing credit exposure, maintaining portfolio health, and supporting strategic decision-making by delivering timely and accurate reports.
Responsibilities Portfolio Oversight: Monitor the organization's credit portfolio to identify potential risks, early warning signs, or credit quality changes through analysis of repayment patterns, financial covenants, and market conditions.
Credit Risk Reporting: Prepare comprehensive updates for management, committees, and stakeholders, highlighting credit risk exposure, compliance with risk appetite, and the effectiveness of risk management strategies.
Risk Control Management: Oversee credit risk processes, including handling derivative and money market limits.
In-Depth Analysis: Evaluate broader economic, industry, and product-specific trends to assess potential impacts on the loan portfolio.
Asset Quality Assurance: Manage non-performing loans, assess accountability, and handle write-offs.
Provision Management: Calculate IFRS 9 provisions and draft related documentation.
Departmental Support: Assist leadership with ongoing projects, policy updates, and operational improvements.
Skills & Experience Required Experience: A solid background in credit portfolio management, with 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
Languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI; knowledge of Python and Access is advantageous.
Technical Skills: Skilled in using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
